Cheyenne Drury is a first-semester staff writer for the Current. She is a descendant of the Native tribe Lakota Sioux and enjoys running, cycling, and swimming . She is also on staff at the American River Review, a literary magazine produced by American River College. She writes free-verse poetry as well as edits other’s.
