Transfer Day is a chance for students to meet with representatives from universities and learn about transfer opportunities.
This semester, Transfer Day takes place Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Student Center, according to Fong Tran, the event’s coordinator.
The colleges will be set up at tables in the Student Center.
More than 50 schools will be present, including all the UCs and most of the CSUs, as well as several private and vocational institutions, according to Tran. There will also be information about Associate Degree for Transfer, which helps students who earn associate’s degrees transfer to CSUs.
According to Tran, students will be able to learn about different college’s programs, admissions requirements, advice for the application, information about demographics and relevant resources and services.
“This would be a good opportunity for the students to ask the representatives about campus atmosphere,” Tran said.
