April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. American River College and ARC Kinesiology & Athletic Department are Presenting a two day Women’s Self Defense class ( see attached flyer). It is a R.A.D. certified course. R.A.D. is the strongest self-defense network in the country. The course meets or exceeds all guidelines for a self-defense program established by the National Coalition Against Sexual Assault (NCASA). This program is taught at over 500 universities, community colleges, and independent locations across the U.S and Canada. Over 400,000 women have been taught this program. If interested please sign up at the ARC Business Services office in the Administration building. Space is limited.
