University field trips available to students seeking transfer
Campus field trips will happen throughout the semester.
Looking to transfer out and don’t know where to go? The American River College Transfer Center will host multiple college campuses along with equity groups who are part of organizing the trips.
Students will be able to tour the campus, ask questions and learn more about each college. One of the staff members has shared some of their thoughts and what they hope you gain from the experience.
Maria Quintero-Lenihan, a student personal assistant, said the center aims to help students through the transfer process.
“I want students to get a feel of the campus and understand how to transfer,” she said. “There is no limit on how many students want to sign up but it is first come first serve.”
