Three cars were involved in a rear-ended crash that took place on College Oak Drive between Davies Hall and the administration building at around 9 a.m.
The driver in the car in front was taken to the hospital. According to American River College student Emily Butcoff, the driver in front hit her head.
Butcoff said she had to stop because the car stopped suddenly in front of her.
“He said he was trying to change lanes, and he looked up, and we were stopped, so he slammed in the back of my car,” she said.
While the police was conducting their investigation, a pedestrian was trying to get the attention of the passengers who was in the back of the rear-end collision.
“It wasn’t my fault. They slammed on their breaks,” a woman responded to the pedestrian.
