An American River College student was arrested yesterday afternoon in the alleged battery of seven students and faculty outside the Fine and Applied Arts building.
The suspect, Jonetta Hall, 38, is a suspect in an earlier call to police from the library at 10:30 a.m., the Los Rios Police Department says.
“The description of the suspect did match the second call and we were able to tie them together,” Sergeant Mike Olson said. “We have one victim and two witnesses that came forward.”
Hall was taken into custody without incident at 3:55 p.m.
“In the course of the conversations — I did most of them in this investigation — it came to my attention that there was more than one person threatened by her,” Olson said. “They were threatened with violence and didn’t disclose that. If people are making threats, we want to know about it.”
