A 30-year-old man was shot and killed during a suspected home invasion just blocks away from the American River College campus late last night, according to the Sacramento Sheriff Department’s media release.
Deputies were called to the 4900 block of Little Oak Lane, directly north of ARC parking lot C, at around 10:30, where they found the victim dead.
Reports say witnesses told the deputies that two men had forced their way into the home and then fled with some of the buildings contents after shots were fired.
Deputies are looking for two suspects.
