CSU, Sacramento Spring Sting At ARC

The event will take place on Wednesday, May 8, at 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Meet with major advisors from selected departments, as well as Admissions/Transfer Information from California State University, Sacramento. It will be located in the Liberal Arts Breezeway.

Scholarship Seminar

On Thursday, May 9,students can ask questions about scholarships, the essay process, etc., and understand more in-depth about private, public, corporate, and other general scholarships. This hour-long seminar is for students who need to explore alternative options for financing their education. The seminar will be held in the Orientation Room, Student Services Building from 2:30-3:30 p.m., and 3:30-4:30 p.m.

Step Into The Job of Your Dreams Workshop

On May 13 and May 14, from 10:00-11:00 a.m., a new Career Center workshop will highlight resources and strategies that will make your job search a success. Résumé Development Workshop

This workshop focuses on the refining the physical appearance of a résumé, as well as tips on writing an effective cover letter to send with your résumé. Please register for this workshop at 916-484-8492. The event will be located in the Career Center in the Student Services Building.

Orchestra in the Park

On Wednesday, May 15, at 7:00 p.m., The ARC Orchestra presents a concert featuring Tchaikovsky’s “Romeo and Juliet” and “Symphony No. 4.” This concert will be held in the Gibbons Park Community Center located at 4701 Gibbons Dr. in Carmichael. Suggested donation is $10.
