English and Theatre major Katie Stepp gets her face painted by General Education major Daianna Williams at the first annual Bucky Island Festival on the American River College main campus on May 2, in celebration of the end of the semester, finals, and for graduating students.

Snow cones, balloon animals, face paint, card tricks, and an inflatable surfrider peppered the lawn in front of the library, providing students with fun activities to help mitigate the stress of finals, or the transition of their next step in life.
